  : Excellent location in the Alfama area. We could easily walk to town and to the sea. It is also walking distance to Santa Apolonia train station where our train from Lisboa arrived. I see in other reviews that Alfama is a noisy area but we were not disturbed by street noise. Neighbours walking in the flat above could be heard but luckily people usually are out all day and go back to the room to sleep. We were met by Agnes who gave us advice on what to do, etc. There is a lift as well as stairs so you dont need to carry bags up and down stairs. The view from the lounge area was lovely.

  : Good check-in, nice neighborhood. Clean room! Probably good price for Lissabon.
  : Some facts:Unfortunately one of the windows didn't have curtains and other windows had curtains but didn't block the light enough . So we couldn't really sleep well. Attaching the photo, this light comes from the nearby house. The host is proud of the green energy and that the shower is cold at some point, if 2 people shower after one another, but put the plastic chairs are in the room, which is again not very ecological, so I didn't get the whole concept of sustainability, because in this case it's very controversial.
