  : The room was beautiful and the bed was extremely spacious! The breakfast spread is good too although I didn't have much of an appetite. The bathroom is spacious and packed with facilities. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was also very smooth. The receptionist was kind, attentive and helped me with my bags as I arrived.
  : My check out experience wasn't great. The receptionist was talking to someone else in Portuguese the entire time he was dealing with me. I can speak both languages but to his knowledge I was an English speaker. In general, I'm not a fan of staff having a full conversation with someone else if they are helping me but this could be a cultural difference as it didn't seem to bother the person ahead of me at check out who received the same treatment. I also had to carry my heavy suitcase down the stairs by myself.

  : The room and the bed were very good. The employee are very gentle and try to give their best. Because of the nice people, my mark is still good.
  : On the 1st January we called from the room to reserve a table for dinner, they told us it is not needed. When we went down they let us wait 45 minutes and we had to argue to get a table ( because they “reached their capacity” - the restaurant was empty, apart from 5 table). We ate and the dinner was just “ok”. The same morning I asked two times for an egg a la coque, the second time I told them the time of 4 minutes - no way! It was still not cooked at all - and you pay 21€ per person for this breakfast.Apart from the Restaurant - where cook and management should be changed asap! - the rest was very nice. I also didn’t like that the bar at the rooftop was closed because of winter. We choose the hotel because of the rooftop, in my opinion they should inform better while booking.And yes, I agree with some comments, the hotel is in the center but not really there where tourists need to go. There is always 30 minutes walk back from the touristic highlights. We paid less than other people, because it was a last minute. If I should have paid the full amount, I would be pissed off. We paid around 20-25% less, in this case it is ok - and the room was really nice!

  : We had a complety filled garbage bin in our room with our check in. But beside that it was great!

  : Boutique hotel with comfortable and well equipped rooms in a good location near Marquês de Pombal square. No service available at the rooftop terrace in Dec, but could still access the terrace with a cup of tea or drink from the restaurant to enjoy the view. The food is excellent and well presented. Great wi-fi. Mr Antonio is by far the hotel's greatest asset. He knows the city so well and was always ready with great tips and recommendations for my daily excursions. On a rainy day he recommended lunch at O Cacho Dourado just across the street from the hotel and it did not disappoint!
  : The hairdryer has a very short cord making it difficult to use. Provide a kettle for tea drinkers.

  : The rooms are of a good size. The bathroom was amazing & the rooftop bar is nice but unfortunately it was not open when we went. They have a nice little bar/restaurant on the reception floor which is also nice. Nothing to fancy. Overall i was expecting more. Staff is very nice and friendly & also surprised me with Champage & cake in the room for my birthday.
  : The property is not very big. Its just an old(build internally beautifully built) building. There are no amenities in the hotel except for the bar & restaurant at the reception level. The roof top bar was a bit of a disappointment compared to the pcitures. It was shut plus the view was ok as there is construction going on very close by so mostly u can just see torn down buildings.
